This projected consisted of the completion of all works required with the installation of a new Kone 2 floor lift within a live factory environment. The works involved the demolition of an existing unused lift shaft, the installation of reinforced concrete walls and ring beam to facilitate the installation of the required lift infrastructure, the break out and installation of lift doors and the overseeing of the complete installation of the new lift along with complete testing and commissioning.
This project was successfully completed over a duration of 6 weeks in line with the initial base line program for the works. The works were completed in a live operating factory environment without disruption being caused to the factory operations.
